Ballare Carmel

Artistic Director Lillian Barbeito (former Co-Director of BODYTRAFFIC) seeks professional dancers with superb technique plus improvisation and partnering skills for upcoming projects. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the in-person workshop/audition will be limited and by invitation only. First creation begins immediately with choreographer Ihsan Rustem and a performance opportunity on September 18th in Carmel Valley, CA.

-Vaccination status (provide proof of vaccination or written statement of intention to be fully vaccinated before the program begins)

VIDEO GUIDELINES
Please include the following in your application video(s):
-2 minutes of unedited improvisation
-performance or rehearsal footage of choreographed material (any setting or style of dance acceptable)
-Please upload your Video Statement of Interest and Application Videos to Dropbox, Vimeo, or Youtube,
and provide links and include passwords if needed. Videos that need to be downloaded will NOT be considered.

APPLICATION DEADLINE​ ~ August 1st by 5:00 pm PST
The audition/workshop is limited to 20 dancers. We will indicate if and when
we are at capacity/no longer accepting applications in bright red on our website.

COST​
$600 1-week of Technique, PARTNERING, & Repertory/Creation
$200 Non-refundable security deposit

FINANCIAL AID ~ August 15th by 5:00 pm PST
Attendees who apply and are accepted are eligible to apply for financial aid. HAVEN is not offering scholarships for Room & Board. To be considered for a tuition scholarship:
