MoDem 2026 Online Auditions

Compagnia Zappalà Danza has opened online applications for its MoDem Pro and MoDem Atelier intensive contemporary dance training programs. Located at Scenario Pubblico, an international choreographic centre in the historic heart of Catania, these programs offer young dancers an immersive experience to master Roberto Zappalà’s unique choreographic language.
The announcement highlights the following details for the MoDem Pro path:

– Duration: A 3-month intensive program.

– Target Audience: Professional and pre-professional dancers who are at least 20 years old.

– Focus: Intensive study of the company’s language and repertoire.

Step into the core of contemporary dance!
Applications are now open for MoDem Pro and MoDem Atelier, the intensive training programs promoted by Compagnia Zappalà Danza.
An immersive experience for young dancers wishing to deepen their engagement with Roberto Zappalà’s choreographic language, within the outstanding context of Scenario Pubblico, international choreographic centre in the heart of Catania’s historic centre.

Choose your path:
MoDem Pro
A 3-month intensive program for professional and pre-professional dancers (minimum age: 20), focused on the company repertoire and language.
Up to 4 dancers will be selected to join Compagnia Zappalà Danza 2.
MoDem Atelier
A 2-year training program for emerging dancers (minimum age: 18) designed to support the transition into professional contemporary dance through intensive daily training, research, and performance experience.
A demanding environment built around practice, creation, and artistic growth.
