The 2026 NY State Choreographers Initiative Grant Cycle is Open!

The NYS Choreographers Initiative (NYSCI) is a program of the NYS DanceForce in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA). NYSCI is designed to help individual choreographers, in all genres, develop their choreographic skills by providing them with resources that are generally unavailable or unaffordable. These resources include a $2,500 stipend, a minimum of 20 hours of creative time with professional dancers, and the guidance of a mentor of their choice.

EUROLAB Certificate Programs in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies

The EUROLAB Certificate Program in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies (LBMS) – Basic Level runs over 2 years in an intensive format in English starting in April 2025. The schedule for each year will be 1 week online at Easter and 3 weeks in presence in Berlin, Germany in the summer.

OCDP PROGRESSIVE – three-year advanced training course

The goal of this program is to make dancers acquire awareness of their own body and personal potential, created in an environment designed to acquire a new way of approaching dance in the various technical and expressive elements for one’s professional career. OCDP PROGRESSIVE – three-year advanced training course is an exclusive program that offers every dancer the opportunity to grow and study professionally. Willingness, professionalism, dedication with the joy and serenity of facing this path are the most important objectives for OCDP.

The annual cost is 4.000 euros. It's possible to pay the course in four installments. (The installments are not returnable or refundable) To enroll in the course, you must be a member of the Oliva Contemporary Dance Project cultural association. The cost of the membership fee is 75 euros to be paid with the first installment.

3-YEAR DIPLOMA PROGRAMME

The goal of the 3-year Diploma Programme at CCDS is for the students to develop into highly skilled and aware dancers who can take full charge of their own development and handle their careers as professional dancers and artists for a long career in the future.

The total education fee for the 3-year Diploma Programme 2023/2026 is 152,000 DKK to be paid in six instalments.

Payment for the first year:
The first instalment of 20,000 DKK is due to be paid 2 weeks after acceptance.
The second instalment of 20,000 DKK is due to be paid May 25th 2023.
The third instalment of 17,000 DDK is to be paid November 25th 2023.

Payment for the second year:
The fourth instalment of 40,000 DKK is due to be paid March 25th 2024.
The fifth instalment of 17,000 DDK is to be paid November 25th 2024.

Payment for the third year:
The sixth instalment of 38,000 DKK is due to be paid March 25th 2025.
