Dance classes at Nritarutya focus on the art of performance by inspiring students globally with a holistic approach to dance education. The contemporary dance training has a structured syllabus offering a balance between tradition and modern, Indian, and Western movement techniques, equipping the students to be versatile. The classes provide systematic coaching not only in dance but also in theory, body conditioning, physical theatre, and introduction to allied arts of stagecraft. In addition to studying Nritarutya’s dance vocabulary, the course will render a strong foundation to students on the company’s process of choreography as well. They will also have direct access to varied workshops, intensives, masterclasses, and residencies organized by the education wing of Nritarutya giving them exposure to worldwide trends in the field of dance.

We have separate batches for kids and adults. We teach Contemporary dance along with elements of Indian Dance forms and their aesthetics.
