At Stopgap, we’re opening doors for the next generation of Disabled leaders, providing a supportive, inclusive space to grow, collaborate, and develop leadership skills.

We’re looking forward to welcoming two new Future Leaders in September 2025, for a 12-month contract running until September 2026.

Future Leaders offers paid positions for Disabled professionals at the start of their leadership journey. You’ll gain hands-on experience, work with a diverse range of people, and be guided by an experienced Stopgap mentor every step of the way. Plus, our Future Leaders Coordinator will ensure you feel supported, valued, and empowered throughout the programme.

Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking passionate and driven individuals who identify as Deaf, Disabled or neurodivergent to join our Future Leaders programme. If you have at least three years of experience in the creative sector and are eager to grow as a leader, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re particularly interested in those who have skills and experience in:

  • Advocacy, Education & Training
  • Producing & Project Management
  • Creative Leadership

These are not entry-level roles – we’re looking for aspiring leaders who want to make an impact.

If your expertise falls outside these areas, feel free to reach out to us to discuss your application. We’re always open to considering talented individuals whose skills align with our company’s needs and capacity.

Salary: £15,000 – £16,200 (£25,000 – £27,000 full time equivalent) dependent on experience.

Working Hours: Minimum 22.5 hours per week, with a mutually agreed flexible working pattern.
