Nacho Duato Trainee Program (NDTP) is a pre-professional ballet program for students ages 16 to 22 who are preparing for a professional dance career. Designed and directed by Nacho Duato himself and developed and taught by former professional dancers. Our one-or-two-year graduate course offers exceptional, in-depth training that will equip you with knowledge and insight for a career in dance and develop skills in classical and contemporary ballet, repertoire, movement, music, research, critical and contextual studies as well as personal and professional development to sustain you in your career in dance. NDTP is an important stepping stone that can help edge you toward your dream job

The audition consists of ballet class, girls’ pointe, and men’s technique, followed by Nacho Duato’s repertoire.

The audition board will eliminate candidates after the ballet class and only the named candidates will pass to the next phase of the repertoire.

It is not required to prepare any solo variation.

It is mandatory to fill out the form (application) and receive confirmation of attendance. Candidates will not be admitted without an official invitation.
