Young maker Liza Sulaiman, senior at the choreography department of the Fontys Dance Academy, is working towards her graduation performance in October 2020:
For this production I’m looking for one performer (m/f/x) based in the Netherlands.
Professional/intern dancers and performance artists of all ages and training backgrounds are welcome. I’m looking for performers with a strong physical, theatrical and improvisational skillset, who are open for experimentation. We will work together towards a non-contact urban-/contemporary duet performance.
When:
– Deadline submitting application: Saturday 13th of June 2020
– Deadline second round submitting video: Saturday 20th of June 2020
– Last round studio-session: Thursday 25th, Friday 26th or Saturday 27th of June 2020

Due to the unusual times we’re in, the most rounds of the audition will take place digitally. You will receive an e-mail whether you are selected or not for the next round, before the 17th of June 2020. When you’re through the first selection, I will send you the information regarding the next specific video task(s). When you also made it through the second round, the last round will consist of an one-on-one studio session in Tilburg.
Your application must contain:
- Current CV
- Video link which shows clearly your individual performing/movement qualities
- A short motivation letter (+/- 300 words)

Your application will be only taken into consideration if you have applied within the deadline!
The working period will be during August, September and October. The performance will take place within the second half of October 2020 in Tilburg.
Fontys Dance Academy will financially support this graduation production. Performers’ wage classification will be based on their years of experience.
