In this workshop, we will explore the elements of Physical theater, Butoh, Contact improvisation, Chinese martial arts, 4 powerful breathing in nature, voice and movement, Qi Gong, Yoga, Chant, Mudra, Free body expression.

The workshop contains 3 parts: Technique, Improvisation and Instant composition
Level of participants: Advanced / Professional.

Bio: Elena Lin

Ex-Yugoslavian choreographer, performer, visual artist, and educator, Elena Lin is known for her Unique Coaching Program for dancers and performers: HOUSE OF FIVE ELEMENTS. This unique method is including the elements of Physical Theater, Butoh, Contact improvisation, Chinese martial arts, 4 powerful breathing in nature, voice and movement, Qi gong, Yoga, Chant, Mudra, Free body expression, Instant composition. Currently, Elena is choreographing and dancing in the upcoming Video Dance Film GATE OF THE TREES in collaboration with Flemish video artist Rouland Van Onckelen. As a guest teacher and performer, she has collaborated with the following companies and dance institutions around the world: DV8 Company, Batsheva Company, Ultima Vez, Dunia Dance Theatre, Danscentrum Jette Bruxelles, TanzQuartier Vienna, Danse Centrum Syd Malm, Tanz Haus Dusseldorf, Escola Corporal Dramatica and Contemporary Dance School, Varia Barcelona, Dansehallerne Copenhagen, CDSH Contemporary Dance School Hamburg, Royal Ballet Academy Antwerp, Sceneindgangen Copenhagen Dance Studio, Marameo Berlin and many others.
