PARA.MAR Dance Theatre Workshop

This five-day in-person workshop will include technique, repertory, and performance coaching with PARA.MAR Dance Theatre’s Rehearsal Director Noelle Kayser.  In a safe and empowering COVID-free environment, dancers will experience Artistic Director Stephanie Martinez’s acclaimed piece, “kiss,”  a contemporary dance work that is motivated by the core human need to be seen, to be heard, and to be honored.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE​ ~ July 11th by 5:00 pm PST
The workshop is limited to 20 dancers. We will indicate if and when
we are at capacity in bright red on our website.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Full and partial scholarships are available. Please send the following materials to info@carmeldancefestival.org
​-Video Statement of Interest (talk to camera about yourself and why you are interested in participating in the workshop
-Biography and/or Resume
-Links to Video(s)​
-Written Statement of Financial Need
-Three References (with emails and phone numbers) or Two Written Recommendation Letters
-Vaccination status (provide proof of vaccination or written statement of intention to be fully vaccinated before the program begins)

VIDEO GUIDELINES
Please include the following in your scholarship application video(s):
-2 minutes of unedited improvisation
-performance or rehearsal footage of choreographed material (any setting acceptable)
-Please upload your Video Statement of Interest and Application Videos to Dropbox, Vimeo, or Youtube,
and provide links and include passwords if needed. Videos that need to be downloaded will NOT be considered.
