The Royal Swedish Ballet, Kungliga Baletten, was founded in 1773 by King Gustav III and has been creating dance ever since. Today it is Sweden’s biggest ballet company with 70 full-time dancers comprising of Principal dancers, 1st Soloists, 2nd Soloists and Corps de Ballet and we perform a wide repertoire from classical ballet to contemporary dance.
