ROOTS: A five-weekend Dance Intensive for 2023-2024 Season

ROOTS, an initiative by Aakash Odedra Company, is delighted to announce the dates for a series of exceptional dance workshops featuring renowned choreographers. These public workshops are designed for dancers with an experienced movement background from any form.

ROOTS, an initiative by Aakash Odedra Company, is delighted to announce the dates for a series of exceptional dance workshops featuring renowned choreographers. These public workshops are designed for dancers with an experienced movement background from any form.

All ROOTS workshops present an exceptional opportunity for experienced dancers to learn from and collaborate with some of the most esteemed and influential choreographers in the industry. Participants will have the chance to delve into various choreographic styles and techniques, including contemporary dance, elements of classical Indian dance, and more. In addition to honing their skills, dancers will also have the opportunity to explore choreography, improvisation, and performance, enhancing their artistic versatility.

Through intensive training, dancers will delve into various choreographic styles, technique and methodologies of these dance luminaries. The program will also feature workshops on choreography, improvisation, and performance, providing a well-rounded and enriching experience for the participants.

• Alleyne Dance at Curve (Leicester): 20th – 21st January 2024
• Akram Khan Company (Central London location TBC): 17th – 18th February 2024
